Poor baby

This girl is something else...Thank goodness we had decided to stop at 2. I'm not sure a third would have fared so well with Reese around. She may look cute, adorable, and innocent...but boy does she have a much different side to her at times. She cracks us up!

not much new here

I don't have much new or interesting information to share today, so instead, I thought I would share my 2 latest scrapbook pages completed. Sorry if it bores you, but I happen to love this hobby!I always feel it necessary to one for each of them each time as to not show any favoritism. Although, after 3 years of doing all boy pages, it was so nice to get to use girly stuff.

Backyard Beach Party

A friend of mine came over today and we had a little backyard beach party. If you are familiar with Phineus and Ferb then you are probably singing the Backyard Beach party song in your head now. We are very familiar with it at this point. Anyway, we broke out the whale pool, slip-n-slide, bubbles, water guns, sandbox, and sprinklers. That's a lot for only 4 kids under the age of 5.  Mason has improved his slip-n-slide skills since last summer and can now do it by himself, although, he still prefers for us to throw him down the slip-n-slide. This was Reese's first experience with it and at first she didn't like it at all, but towards the end she was fearless.

The boys definitely enjoyed our homemade popsicles (fresh blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and apple juice blended and frozen).

They also managed to figure out a way that both boys (age almost 4 and 5) could ride a toddler tricycle at the same time.

Monitor no more

So I just found out today that we have not had Mason's baby monitor on at all for the last 3 nights. I know he's almost 4, so technically he's not a baby, but to not have a monitor anymore seems so grown up. To be honest, it hasn't been of much use lately anyway. He doesn't get up during the night. When he wakes up in the morning he just comes down stairs by himself and either comes in our room to wake us up, or he plays with his toys until we come out of our room on our own. Most of the time we hear him pounding down the stairs though.

Even though it's a totally unrelated picture, I wanted to post it anyway. They don't normally get this close to each other, but obviously they don't care if they're both sleeping.

In a totally unre
